Vignan University or Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research is actually a private university situated in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The university campus is located in a rural area of Vadlamudi, on the southeast part of Guntur city. To be precise, the university is situated in Guntur-Tenali road, Vadlamudi.

Overall, this private university is an amazing place to study. In addition, its academic staffs are very friendly. The university infrastructure is amazing and the academic atmosphere is perfect for learning. The former name of this university was Vignan’s Engineering College. Later, it became a deemed to be university in 2008 and its current chairman is Lavu rathaish. M. Y. S. Prasad is the vice chairman of this university. Mr. Lavu Sri Krishna is the vice chancellor of this excellent university.

At this moment, this university has over 10,000 students, among which over 500 students are conducting doctoral researches in various fields.
