Founded in 1916, SAIT Polytechnic is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Calgary (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Alberta. Officially accredited/recognized by the Alberta Advanced Education, SAIT Polytechnic (SAIT) is a large (enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. SAIT Polytechnic (SAIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
