Helen C. Peirce School is a neighborhood school serving Pre-K through eighth grade students in the Edgewater and Andersonville communities. 

Peirce is considered one of the best neighborhood schools on the North Side of Chicago and is an  Authorized International Baccalaureate World School for the Middle Years Programme in collaboration wi​th Nicholas Senn High School (Grades 6th-10th).  Our PYP Programme (PK-5th) is currently in the authorization stage and we anticipate being fully authorized by the fall of 2017.  

Peirce School believes in developing the whole child with a focus on academics, social emotional learning, arts integration and quality after school programs.  Peirce school is fortunate to have strong parent and community partnerships - parents are actively engaged in volunteerism and fundraising and many community agencies/business regularly support Peirce Programs.  

At Peirce School, we believe that every child deserves a quality education and we work together daily to ensure this happens.
