Overview

Welcome to Crawford Childcare where our experienced and highly qualified team provide a kind and caring environment for your child. We encourage children to learn in a positive and safe environment which stimulates them to reach their potential. In 2015 we achieved a Healthy Ireland award, participated in the Better Start programme and commenced the Siolta quality assurance programme with Early Childhood Ireland.

With 3 dedicated rooms our aim is to care for your child as you would do at home. We want you to feel happy and secure in the knowledge that the care of your child is our main priority. All of our staff are qualified to FETAC level 5 in Childcare as a minimum. Each room is led by a Supervisor and team of staff. Most of our staff have been with us since we opened and many are parents themselves. From time to time we also take Childcare Students on work experience. Experience in our facility helps to equip them for their future roles and it also benefits our staff and children as they are exposed to the latest childcare teachings.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Glanmire, our custom built facility opened at the beginning of 2009. This architecturally designed facility was built with the needs of children in mind. Our bright and airy rooms are complimented by a large outdoor play area, making the facility quite unique. We work with the Cork County Childcare Committee and the TUSLA to ensure we are providing the best possible care and education for children.
