Welcome Sugradh Childcare!

Sugradh Childcare was established in 2003. The service is situated in a lovely rural setting nestled between Kilruane and Ardcroney.

Surrounded entirely by farmland, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have the great outdoors on our doorstep and regularly use this resource to enrich children’s learning and play experiences. Despite our rural location we are ideally located for parents on route from Borrisokane or Cloughjordan through Nenagh to Limerick OR for parents travelling from Nenagh to Galway.

This service aims to provide a professional level of care and early learning through warm, respectful interactions. Staff have high levels of childcare qualifications from BA Hons to childcare level 6. The staff turn over is very low, which creates a stable and relaxing environment for the children and allows them to form and sustain secure relationships with their carers.

We use the High-Scope approach to early learning. This approach supports children to become independent problem solvers with positive dispositions to learning. High-Scope is particularly compatible with Aistear; the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework.
