Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad is a public educational and research type autonomous engineering college located in Palakkad, Kerala. In the 2014^th Union Budget of India, there was a proposal of establishing five new Indian institute of technology and this particular institution is one of them. This Indian Institute of technology, Palakkad is also one of the 31 institutes of technology, which are regarded as of utter significance. 

Established in 2015, the Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad has always remained veracious, verecund, fecund and vitative, in terms of yielding educational excellence over the lands of Kerala. However, this institute has been educating the next generations with superior care and support. However, this institute has not yet received a permanent campus and its temporary campus is located at Ahalia Integrated Campus.
