Breezing through an eccentric academic excellence, the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya has been providing an enticing academic environment since 2011. The university emerges with the motto, ‘Unveiling Excellence’ and it is a state private university. The chancellor of this university is Mr. Mahbubul Haque and its vice chancellor is Dr. R. K. Sharma. At this moment, the university has over 3000 students and it has over 100 full-time academic staffs as well.

Situated in Ri-Bhoi, Baridua, the main campus of this university is spread across an area of 400 acres. Apart from its affiliation with UGC, this university is affiliated to AICTE, NCTE, AIU and BCI. Here is a list of schools of this private state university.
