General information, PRIST University

Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology or Prist University emerges with the motto, ‘quality and discipline’. It was established in 1985 and its chancellor is Prof. P. Murugesan. Its vice chancellor is Dr. Ethirajalu. Located in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, the main university campus is urban in nature. Apart from its affiliation with UGC, the university is affiliated to AICTE and NAAC.

At this moment, the Prist University is offering under graduate and post graduate courses in various fields of engineering, education, science, management, law and arts. It also has research facilities available for the students and it is offering doctoral research programs as well.

This deemed to be university is established in the town of Vallam, near Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, and the campus has all modern amenities available for the students.
