Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya is a deemed to be university located near Kancheepuram, Tamul Nadu. The university received its “deemed to be university” status in 1993 and since then, it went through a turbulent period and at this moment, it is offering under graduate, post graduate and doctoral research courses in various fields of management, education, engineering, science, social science & humanity, health and life science, languages and Sanskrit along with Indian culture.

This university emerges with the motto, “Vande Sadgurum Chandrasekharam”, and its present chancellor is Prof. Dr. S. Jayarama Reddy. Its vice chancellor is Prof. Dr. V. S. Vishnu Potty. Located in Kanchipuram, the university main campus is spread across an area of 50 acres. The university is affiliated to UGC, AICTE, AIU, CSI, CII, NAAC and British council.
