Nava Nalanda Mahavihara is a deemed to be university located in Nalanda, Bihar. The university was established as a simple institute in 1951. However, it has transformed in to a university at this moment and it had been granted the deemed to be university status in 2006.

The university President is Mr. Lalji Tandon and this public university is really a nice place to study. Its chancellor is Dr. Mahesh Sharma, the state minister of Tourism and Culture in Bihar. Its president is the honorable governor of Bihar, Mr. Lalji Tandon. Ms. Padma Lochan Sahu is the vice chancellor of this university.

Located in Nalanda, this university campus is spacious and it is spread across a wide area. It has also been incorporated with all modern amenities for the students.
