Named after the Hindu Goddess, “Sharaswati”, the Sharada University is one leading private university with modern research facilities in India. This private university was established in 2009 and it is located in Greater Noida.

Situated in the heart of Greater Noida, the campus is spread over a large area of 63 acres providing sufficient rooms for the UG, PG and research scholars as well as academic staffs and teachers to perform various kinds of researches.

At present, the university has over 20,000 students and it has over 1,200 academic staffs. The Sharada University is affiliated to UGC, ACU, BCI, COA, MCI and DCI. Sharda University has three campuses located in Agra, Mathura and Greater Noida.

The university is currently offering certificate courses, diploma courses, UG courses, PG courses and doctoral research programs. Its school of Engineering has 41 labs for conducting researches and academic accomplishments. The school of Medicine has 28 laboratories for exposing students to the practical world.

The hostel facility of this university could hold up to 3,200 students and it has several hostels for males and females.

There are six libraries available for the students for Sharada University. Here is the list of libraries: Reference Sections, Circulation Sections, Audio-visual Sections, Periodical Sections, Book Banks and Digital Libraries. The libraries have collections of over 1 lakh books and 100 current subscriptions to the journals, magazines and newspapers. The central library has an area of 8,000 sq. ft.
