Sardar Patel University is one of the oldest research based universities in Gujarat. It was named after Vallabhbhai Patel and it was founded in December, 1955. It has the status of a rural university and it stands with the motto, “Characters and Conducts are Fruits of Learning”. The campus of this public university is located in Vallabh Vidyanagar. 

This particular university has lots of colleges affiliated in to it. Being multi-dimensional, it has also a lot of faculties and divisions. Being one of the finest, all of its faculty members are of true excellence and paragon of virtue.

The campus area of the Sardar Patel University is large enough to conduct various kinds of experimentations and researches. It has all the modern amenities for the students. Each and every department contains a vast computer lab. The library of this institution is rich and it contains a good lot of rare collection. It contains Wi-Fi zone and residence for the students.

In addition, it also provides transportation for the students. For better accommodation of the academic staffs and research scholars, it has separate residential buildings.  

The university also holds various seminars and workshops on a regular basis where scholars could publish their papers. In accession to curricular activities, the university also arranges annual cultural and sports events along with intra-departmental ceremonies and inter-college as well as inter-school events.
