K L University is also known as Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) and it is a deemed to be university situated in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. At the moment, the university is incorporated with 11 departments along with 6 schools and it basically emphasizes on technological as well as scientific research.

Previously, the university was known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of University and this deemed to be university was established in 1980. M. Rama Moorthy is the Chancellor of this university and the university campus is suburban in nature. The Mascot of this university represents KLEFan.

Established in 1980, the colleges of the university y are located in a 100-acre campus, which are adjacent to the Buckingham Canal. The university main campus is only 8 km away from Vijaywada, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The university is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and it is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. The university is also ISO-9001 certified. The university is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation council with an “A” grade due to its contribution in the vast knowledge field of the technological sector.

• At present, the university is offering UG, PG and Doctoral Research program. It has several schools and departments offering tantalizing tutoring experience. In addition, all of the facilities are equipped with first-rated tools and instruments so that the students could get the best out of them and the research scholars could conduct researches with utmost perfection.
• The campus area has all the modern amenities for the students. It contains a vast computer lab. The library of this institution is rich and it contains thousands of books. It contains Wi-Fi zone and residence for the students.
• The university offers an e-portal of information for the students through their websites, so that the students could be up-to-dated with all essential information.
