General information, PSG College of Technology

PSG college of Technology is an autonomous and government aided private engineering college locate in Coimbaatore, Tamil Nadu. The PSG college of Technology has its affiliation with the Anna University and it is also affiliated to PSG and Sons Charities Trust. The motto of this institute is “Knowledge and Service”.  

This government aided private university was established in 1951 and it is associated to Anna University, at this moment. The college has 48 full-time programs in science, engineering as well as in management. As the college is autonomous, it architects its own curriculum and syllabus. Since 1960, the college has been anointed with the prestige of publishing the “PSG Design Data Book”, the Engineering Data hand book. The book is used throughout the country.

Among all of the engineering colleges of the country, the PSG College of Technology ranks 13th. According to NIRF, the institution ranks 29th among all of the engineering institutions in India. In management, the institution has ranked 33rd. The university campus has the ability to hold up to 4,300 students all together. The institution has five dining hall, an auditorium, a library, a computer lab and a guest house, that is attached to the hostel.
