Anna University was previously known as Anna University of Technology and at this moment, it is offering over 40 programs in distance mode. The university was established in 2007 as Anna University, Coimbatore. After that, the name was changed to Anna University of Technology. At last, the name was changed to become Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore.

The university emerges with the motto, “Knowledge is Power” and it is located in the heart of Coimbatore, a small, yet smart city. The nickname of this university is AURCC and the university campus is spread over 130 acres of land. Dr. M. SARAVANA KUMAR is the dean of Anna University. The regional campus of Anna University is offering higher education in Engineering and technology. However, it has affiliated schools and colleges in several divergences.

• Right now, the institution is offering UG, PG and Doctoral Research program and it has several schools and departments offering tantalizing tutoring experience.
