General information, Kharkiv University of Humanities "People's Ukrainian Academy" (PUA)

Kharkiv University of Humanities "People’s Ukrainian Academy" is the only life-long educational complex in Ukraine, operating at all educational levels. It is an experimental ground of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

It was esteblished in 1991.

PUA structure incorporates the following units:

• University of Humanities (complete higher education in economics, sociology and philology) (university has IV accreditation level that is the highest in Ukraine);

• Secondary school specialized in economics and law (specialized secondary education);

• Children school of early development (preschool training for 1.5-6 year-olds).

PUA’s academic staff has developed and is extensively implementing integrated educational programs for continuous training at all educational levels. Scientific and research activities of faculty and students are carried out within the long-term complex theme: “Formation of the society intellectual potential under current social changes”.

PUA's mission: formation of cultured person who is able to earn for living by highly qualified intellectual work using civilized methods, who is able to work with people and for people; working out of the module of the life-long education.
