Burnham Math & Science Academy is a Science Magnet Cluster school.  The school’s focus is to provide high-quality instruction through rigorous implementation of Balanced Literary Instruction, as well as the Chicago Math and Science Initiative Program.

The school's focus is to provide high-quality instruction through rigorous implementation of Balanced Literary Instruction and the Chicago Math and Science Initiative. This year we are pleased to announce that we have made annual yearly progress for the past 6 years and that our ISAT scores have increased from 38% to 84%.
