Holden’s Middle School Mathematics Program is a comprehensive, problem-based, student-centered curriculum of study, providing students a venue to express their ideas as they work through challenging, rigorous problems that develops both mathematical skills and ways of thinking.  Students’ thinking, habits of mind, matures as students develop the ways they approach and solve mathematical challenges.

Science

All Holden teachers of science grades K-8 are progressively integrating the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and in conjunction with Common Core literacy standards. Teachers in grades K-5 rely on FOSS kits and other supplemental resources that align to the new NGSS standards.
