Colleges Drop Tuition to Lure Students

College tuition fees are daunting, especially in the United States of America. Students graduate high school, and if they don't get scholarships for sports or other extra-curricular activities, they have to in most cases deal with the barrage that is tuition fee in the middle of their educational career. Tuition fees in the US have piled up so high that they have made the biggest funding gap, students whose parents aren't able to handle these high tuitions have to work part-time to be able to pay off the loans they are accumulating in the form of credit.

US colleges now are looking at the possibility of lowering tuition fees in the hopes of getting good potential students, who are going to feel incentivized with the drop in tuition fee. This technique of luring in top students isn't new and is being applied at colleges across the US. One of these colleges is the Mills College, who among others has started freezing or lowering prices, which have been affected by the heightened price sensitivity for the past years. The positive from this is that this is an incentive for people to not drop out of college just because of high tuition fees.
