Amongst all the proposals that have been made, one is to allocate $3 billion to fund the Local Control Funding Formula, $55 million is expected to go to county offices of education to help the schools that might be needing financial help in providing facilities to students who are low performers and $100 million are to be invested in the training of the teachers for special education.

Though there is a lot of debate going on amongst the authorities and the officials regarding this proposal for investment in education sector, the school leader have greatly applauded this initiative and are hoping for improvements in the educational sector now that there would be more finances to cover the shortfalls, "Our school district greatly appreciated Gov. Brown's support for public education" said George Mannon, superintendent of Torrance Unified.
