10 Colleges Where Students Usually Get Internships

Statistics from National Association of Colleges and Employers show that students who have the experience of paid internships are offered better employment opportunities as compared to those who have the experience of unpaid internships or no experience at all, but they still have a good probability of being employed.

Recruiters suggest that hiring individuals who have interned is beneficial because they take less time in training, adapt to the work environment much more quickly and learn the skills required for their jobs. They have to be invested in slightly less than the individuals who have no experience.311 colleges responded to the survey conducted by NACE, and according to the information provided by these colleges, almost 42% of the students graduate with internship experience, pain or unpaid.

The schools where the trend of students of going for internships was highly prevalent, 95% students had gained experience through an internship. But the schools with no such trend for internship, not even 5% of the students had been a part of any kind of internship. Six of the ranked universities had a surprisingly 100% rate of students going for an internship but here were also some universities where the number of students going for internships was 1%, which was shocking.
