It is no surprise that 41% of all the students in U.S study in a community college. They are the biggest educator of colleges in the United States of America.

Walt Disney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Hanks, and George Lucas are all community college graduates!

Community colleges are also known as junior colleges, technical colleges, and city colleges. It is mostly a 2-year higher education public institution. They award their students with certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees.

Community colleges are funded by local taxes, while the name of the college is determined by the community that attends it.

 

The American Association of Community Colleges conducted research which disclosed that there are about 1,150 community colleges in all over U.S which enrol about 50% of all the undergraduates.
