Overview

Toddle Inn is a full-time crèche for children from 4 months to school-going children. We are committed to providing a loving and relaxed environment, where children can learn, explore and have fun.

All children are respected and given the opportunity to socialise with other children of their own age. We respect that children develop at their own pace and so encourage independence while offering help when needed.

At Toddle Inn we acknowledge that all children are different and so we aim to be flexible and change as the needs of each child differ. Children come first at Toddle Inn, as we let their personalities blossom.

Opening hours are 7.30 to 6.00, Monday to Friday. We provide all food, we have a designated chef who makes all homemade dinners which the children love mostly...of course we recognise that children can have days where they don’t want to eat or want to eat less or more. We coax as best we can but we recognise their right to choose too.

At Toddle Inn we try to go with the flow. We have our ideas on what’s going to happen throughout the day, but we recognise that so do the children.

The idea behind Toddle Inn is that we hope to become part of the extended family, we discuss with parents what they want and we all try to bring out the best in each child. We like to know about each child’s background and if this means we meet mothers, fathers, nanas and granddads, aunts, uncles, then we are happy to do that.

We believe that it takes the whole crèche and the whole family to help each child to have a well-rounded and happy childhood, so we welcome people in to check up on their children, or nanas to arrive to see if their grandchildren are getting on ok.

We love to take children out to have new experiences like going to the shops or going to the playground. We invite visitors such as fire fighters, lollipop persons, musicians to introduce roles to children from the outside world. We encourage children to be curious, to ask questions and to become useful people in years to come.

We try to help children solve their own problems as much as possible and we hope that their knowledge and understanding of the world is enhanced by being with us.
