Here at just kids Crèche & Montessori School we aim to provide a happy and stimulating learning environment for children where they feel safe, loved and cared for. It is our hope that each child in our care will develop as an individual through their play and learning .We will encourage each child to integrate and play with other children on their terms. We provide play and educational equipment t...hat will enable children to develop skills, explore learning in an active and practical way.

We can offer parents the peace of mind that their child will receive quality care and preschool education, in a warm and friendly setting that see’s the child as a unique individual with his or her needs met on every level. We strive to offer families support and guidance whenever needed and offer a service that not only supports the child but also the family.

Our curriculum within the service focuses on each element of the young child’s development such as physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social development, ensuring each child’s needs are met through daily activities.

Our curriculum is based on Aistear; The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework which views children as confident & competent learners through its themes of communicating, children’s wellbeing, identity and belonging and exploring & thinking.

Settings

We open from 7.45am until 6pm Monday-Friday. We offer full time or part time childcare, and also offer ECCE free preschool places for the morning and afternoon sessions.

We have four rooms within the service a baby room for ages 1-2, a toddler play group for ages 2-3, and two Montessori classrooms for ages 2 and a half to five years. We also cater for afterschool children providing afterschool care & homework supervision for primary school aged children. All meals provided during the day are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises by a fully trained cook in accordance with HASAP standards and food hygiene. We strive to provide children with healthy nutritious food throughout the day which include breakfast, a hot dinner and a hot or cold tea in the afternoons. We will also accommodate for cultural & dietary requirements. Along with our excellent indoor facilities we also have two garden area complete with sandpits and flower beds, and a wide variety of outdoor toys and equipment. We also have a car park onsite for convenient access to the creche.

Role of staff

Our staff at Just Kids are committed to supporting children through play and learning experiences, providing children with positive praise and encouragement. Staff will encourage children to explore the learning environment in order to discover each individual child’s interests and skills. Our approach is centred on the child, focusing in on their interests and allowing them freedom of choice in activities and learning topics.

The staff at Just Kid are highly qualified and experienced, and are committed to providing a quality service to children & families.
