Oasis is a community childcare centre run by a voluntary committee.

It first opened its doors in 2002 and then moved in February 2010 to the new wonderful state of the art purpose built premises.

At Oasis we have an ‘open door policy’ so you are very welcome to call, look around, meet our staff, have your questions answered at whatever time suit you.

We offer: -

• Full Day Care: more than 5 hrs a day

• Part Time Care: 3.5 – 5 hrs per day
• Sessional: up to 3.5 hrs per day

We offer all available schemes: -

• ECCE (Free Preschool Scheme
• CCS (Subvention – Social Welfare Payment)
• CETS (FAS Back to Education)

We have daily activity programmes in each room.

We vary menus every week.

We record a daily comment parental sheet on each child every day.

All parents must provide us with up-to-date Immunisation Records before their child can enrol with us.

At Oasis children learn how to care for themselves, others and the environment.

8am to 6pm. Monday - Friday

Oasis is committed to developing a curriculum that creates a child centred, play-based environment, which enables young children to actively pursue their own learning.

Each day children are encouraged to run and play. When it’s very cold or wet they exercise in our ‘activity’ room but when weather permits they go outside. Our secure garden has lots of room where children play with a multitude of activities and we encourage sowing and planting vegetables, herbs and fruit in our Tunnel.
