York Road Nursery School is a well-established and highly regarded LA nursery school located in Hitchin, UK. Our nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 2 and 5. We have three groups based on age: the Toddler Group (2-3 years old), the Nursery Group (3-4 years old), and the Pre-School Group (4-5 years old).
Our dedicated team of qualified and experienced staff provides a wide range of activities and experiences to support each child's learning and development. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and focus on the seven areas of learning: Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.
In addition to the core curriculum, we offer special disciplines such as music, art, and physical education to enhance the children's creativity, self-expression, and physical well-being. Our facilities include spacious classrooms, a secure outdoor play area, and a well-stocked library. We also have a dedicated sensory room to support children with sensory needs.
