Robert Owen Nursery School and Children's Centre is a nursery school, childcare provider and children's centre. Built on the current site in 2000, it has evolved from the Robert Owen nursery school established in East Greenwich (Conley Street) in 1952.

We offer an 'outstanding' (Ofsted rated) provision for local children and families, including an exciting and challenging curriculum, a large nursery garden, highly qualified and experienced staff. inclusive ethos and continual professional development.

We offer 48 places for 2 year olds and 104 for 3 & 4 year olds. These place are to give a balance of part time and full time places, term time and all year places.  We work on a ratio 1:4 for 2 year olds and 1:8 for 3 & 4 year olds.  There is a qualified teacher in each of the 3 & 4 year old classes.

Our children do exceptionally well at nursery and by the end of reception the large majority, 77% are achieving a good level of development.

Health - Midwife, Health visitor, Breast feeding, Baby massage, CAMHS and others

The Children Centre provides regular activities for parents and their children such as:

• Young and new baby group
• Toddler group
• Crafty Coffee club
• Toy Library Stay and Play
